O-ten Ita Foundation

In 2009, the foundation was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja – Nigeria, under the registration number CAC/IT/NO 3122. The foundation was born out of an uncontrollable passion for supporting less privileged women and children in both rural and urban communities.

  • Our mission is to empower, improve, and promote the rights and livelihoods of less privileged children, youth, and women—regardless of their faith, tribe, color, or religion—and facilitate their involvement in democratic and socio-economic development in Nigeria and beyond.
  • Our Core Values: Honesty, Transparency, Accountability and  Integrity. We envision a world that cares for children and empowers youth and women.

 

AGRICULTURE  

Our agriculture intervention is based on current realities and involves the following set of strategies: Production (food) and increased Agricultural output, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Food Preservation, Marketing, Creation of linkages and review of existing government opportunities for loans, Women and Girls Empowerment. SCHOLARSHIPS  &  MENTORSHIP 

O-ten Ita Foundation supports talented youth from underprivileged backgrounds through scholarships, mentorship, and career guidance to help them achieve their full potential.


 

Women & Children Health Care  

Facilitating access to critical healthcare services, such as maternal and child health, Padiatric and adolescent TB/HIV/ Malaria prevention and response, immunization, and reproductive health services, to ensure the well-being of marginalized groups.
