O-ten Ita Foundation

In 2009, the foundation was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja – Nigeria, under the registration number CAC/IT/NO 3122. The foundation was born out of an uncontrollable passion for supporting less privileged women and children in both rural and urban communities.

The foundation recognizes the importance of promoting good governance for sustainable development, exemplified by its focus on initiatives such as: i. Extractive industries with strategies that will address Damage to environment, Work condition, Environmental issues.

Rule of Law and Human Rights

Civic Education: Educating communities about their rights and responsibilities as citizens, emphasizing the significance of participation in democratic processes.

Advocacy for Transparent Governance: Advocating for transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in public institutions to combat corruption and enhance service delivery.
Community Engagement: Encouraging active participation of women and youth in governance processes at the local and national levels.
Capacity Building for Leaders: Providing training and resources for community leaders, civil society organizations, and local government officials to enhance their capacity for effective governance.
